Role Overview

Amazon's Workplace Health and Safety division is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to join a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. This position supports the Global Vice President of Workplace Health and Safety, facilitating smooth daily operations for a global team exceeding 11,000 personnel, based in Bellevue, Washington.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee routine executive calendar tasks including rescheduling and managing attendee communications alongside the Lead Executive Assistant.
- Manage the office space comprehensively by participating in GREF meetings, processing space allocation requests, and conducting monthly audits to keep leadership well-informed on seating arrangements and requirements.
- Organize and coordinate team-building initiatives and create scalable procedural guides for affiliate offices.
- Build trusted relationships with safety leadership, HR, legal, operational teams, and other executive assistants to foster collaboration and seamless communication.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve workflows and enhance team efficiency through actionable solutions.
- Arrange both domestic and international travel logistics and support expense submissions as required.
- Act as a fully trained backup to the Lead Executive Assistant to guarantee uninterrupted executive-level support during absences or peak periods.
Typical Daily Activities
Begin your day by aligning priorities and sharing the calendar review with the Lead EA. Engage in managing space requests, address scheduling needs, and prepare materials for meetings. Your afternoons may involve adapting to sudden schedule changes, managing non-routine tasks like organizing events, or stepping in for critical meeting preparations. The collaboration between two executive assistants ensures an efficient and well-orchestrated VP office operation.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of five years supporting senior leadership or at least three years of experience at Amazon.
- Bachelor’s degree attained.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced in managing executive-level calendars.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Skilled in developing process improvements through automation and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Independent management of administrative duties with sound judgment and communication.
- Background in fast-paced technology environments.
- Experience in workspace planning and management.
- Capability to design processes that optimize efficiency.
- Experience coordinating travel domestically and internationally.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $82,700 to $129,800. Compensation includes sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units. Amazon offers extensive benefits covering medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance options, mental health support, adoption assistance, 401(k) matching, paid leave, and parental support. The final offer depends on experience, skills, and location.
