Job description
Position Overview
This role is designed for someone who wants to work closely with a founder and CEO, using strong organization, initiative, and problem-solving abilities to create real impact each day. As the Executive Assistant, you will act as a dependable partner to the CEO, helping improve structure, accountability, and execution across the organization.
This is a hands-on role that goes beyond standard administrative support. You will help convert ideas into clear action plans, coordinate cross-functional work, and keep key initiatives moving forward.
The position offers exposure to many parts of a growing technology company, including software development, sales, marketing, customer success, accounting, and HR. It is well suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment and wants to grow a career in business, operations, technology, or leadership.
This opening replaces the company’s first Executive Assistant, who later expanded into a broader leadership position as Chief of Staff and Operations. The role is viewed as a development opportunity with room to take on more responsibility over time and potentially progress into future leadership positions as the company grows.
About the CEO
The President and CEO is also one of the company’s founders and is known for being intensely committed, highly driven, and exacting in the standards he sets. He expects a lot from himself and the people around him, but leads by example and holds himself to the same level of accountability he expects from the team.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a leader like this and will be able to turn ideas into actionable tasks, use support from the wider team, and help the CEO operate more efficiently and with greater focus.
Success in this role means building trust quickly and taking ownership of as many tasks as possible so the CEO can stay organized, productive, and focused on higher-value priorities.
About the Company
The company is described as fast-paced, dynamic, demanding, and rewarding. It values people who bring the right mindset, contribute to a strong team culture, and help the organization continue to grow.
To do well here, you should enjoy challenge, look for opportunities to strengthen your skills, remain confident yet humble, and learn from mistakes. The workplace rewards independent thinkers who are self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working with smart people. A positive attitude and willingness to grow are important for long-term success.
