Document Reviewer

Job Overview

This remote contract opportunity is for a Document Reviewer who will contribute to the training of advanced AI systems by working with real-world information. The role focuses on careful review, validation, and handling of documents and data so that model outputs can be more accurate, reliable, and privacy-aware.

Core Responsibilities

• Examine both structured and unstructured content in high volumes, making sure records are accurate and complete.
• Spot and report concerns involving data quality, consistency, and possible exposure of personally identifiable information (PII).
• Label, categorize, and when needed, remove sensitive details to support privacy and compliance requirements.
• Work within defined rules, classification systems, and process flows for validating and organizing information.
• Carry out quality checks to confirm data integrity and review outputs for correctness.
• Keep detailed documentation of reviewed files and all actions taken so the work remains traceable and accountable.
• Coordinate with the client team and share findings, observations, and recommendations clearly in both written and spoken communication.

Required Background

• Hands-on experience with document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or large-scale data classification.
• Very strong attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate in repetitive work.
• Working knowledge of PII handling and protection practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting issues and coordinating with teammates.
• Ability to work within detailed instructions and follow established taxonomies carefully.
• Experience with QA or validation tasks across sizable datasets.
• Capacity to maintain both speed and precision while working remotely.

Preferred Experience

Applicants with exposure to legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security work will be well suited for this role. Experience supporting AI or machine learning projects is also advantageous, as is familiarity with collaboration tools and digital workflow systems.
