Job description
Program Overview
This is a Career Progression Program (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals, created to develop future talent for Singapore’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. It is structured as a mid-career change pathway with a 15-month duration and a local attachment to Pfizer Inc. The training allowance is CPF exempted.
Eligibility
Applicants should not have previous work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and must be mid-career candidates, meaning they graduated at least 2 years before the date of application.
About the Site
The Tuas, Singapore active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing site is an important strategic part of the PGS Network. Several of Pfizer’s key innovative medicines are being transferred to this site to support the company’s growth and breakthrough strategy.
Role Summary
The Operational Effectiveness Specialist will report to the Operational Effectiveness Lead and support the new facility at the Tuas API site. The position focuses on driving operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma, sustaining the Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) way of working, and strengthening day-to-day operations, problem solving, escalation handling, and continuous improvement. The role contributes to building a safer, higher-quality, best-in-class manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will help improve site performance, guide teams in structured problem solving, and support project execution for a stable and high-performing manufacturing operation.
