An experienced Executive Assistant is needed to support the Chief People Officer (CPO) and contribute to the smooth running of the People & Culture division. The role partners closely with the CPO to manage executive support, governance, stakeholder coordination, communications and operational delivery. It requires someone who can keep priorities moving, foster strong working relationships across the ABC, and help strengthen the effectiveness of the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive executive support, including complex diary coordination, travel arrangements and executive-level correspondence.
  • Organise governance activities such as Board and Executive papers, meeting arrangements, action follow-up and approvals.
  • Handle projects, communications and operational initiatives on behalf of the CPO.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships across the ABC while serving as a reliable contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the administrative functions of the CPO’s Office, including support for the People & Culture Coordinator and ongoing process improvement.

About You

You are a highly organised, proactive and polished Executive Assistant who performs well in a demanding environment supporting senior leaders. You are able to anticipate needs, use sound judgement and manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience supporting C-suite or senior executives in a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong organisational ability, including handling competing deadlines, complex schedules and sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience with governance processes, executive meetings, projects and strategic initiatives.
  • A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
