Job description
Role overview
Biosynova is hiring a remote Executive Assistant to support its Chief Executive Officer across both Biosynova and its clinical division, BioNurture. Internally, this position acts as the BioNavigator: the central link connecting the CEO, the practice, and the business, while also serving as the first contact patients and partners encounter. The job is anchored in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and includes occasional travel to Miami.
What the role involves
On a daily basis, you will manage the CEO’s inbox and calendar, prepare meeting agendas, coordinate travel, and assemble briefings and reports so the CEO stays ahead of key priorities. You will also help keep operations on track by making sure deadlines and follow-through do not slip.
For BioNurture, this role extends into practice administration and concierge-style front-of-house support. You will be the first voice and face for patients and partners, handling scheduling and communication with professionalism, warmth, and accuracy.
Growth and scope
This position is designed to expand over time. You will be trained directly by the CEO across executive support, practice management, and the BioNavigator function until you can operate independently. As the practice and portfolio grow, you will be expected to uphold that standard and help train future team members. The role also connects to the CEO’s personal brand, BioNurture, Biosynova, and broader cross-functional growth initiatives across the startup portfolio.
This is an opportunity to be closely involved in building a healthcare technology company and to gain real ownership if you consistently perform at a high level.
Working setup
The role is full-time and remote, with availability expected during an 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central workday. The position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and occasional travel to Miami may be required.
Qualifications
The company is looking for someone with a strong background in executive support, ideally with direct experience assisting C-level leaders. You should be comfortable managing diaries and coordinating complex calendars across multiple time zones. A professional, patient-facing presence is important, along with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking, including drafting emails, presentations, and documents.
High discretion is essential when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Strong organization, time management, multitasking, and deadline management skills are needed in a fast-moving environment. You should also be self-driven in a fully remote setting and capable of building processes from the ground up. Comfort with tools such as Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and shared project systems is expected. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.
Compliance and confidentiality
Because the role involves patient-facing work and exposure to practice operations, HIPAA awareness training must be completed and a confidentiality agreement must be signed. The role operates under strict privacy and compliance requirements.
Bonus considerations
Extra value will be given to candidates who feel personally connected to the mission, especially if cancer has affected their life and they want to contribute to improving cancer care. Experience in healthcare or life sciences is also a plus.
Application note
Applicants are asked to share an example of a time they anticipated a problem before their manager did and how they handled it.
