About the Role

CREGG is inviting applications for the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO within a prominent company located in Roscommon Town. This pivotal permanent role requires the individual to provide dedicated high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer across business, operational, and personal domains. Ideal candidates would reside within commuting distance of Roscommon Town, including areas such as Athlone, Longford, Leitrim, or North/East Galway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules with precision.
  • Efficiently handle and prioritize incoming emails and communications for the CEO.
  • Compose correspondence and respond on behalf of the CEO as necessary.
  • Develop meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing papers to facilitate discussions.
  • Attend meetings to record notes and monitor follow-up actions.
  • Ensure accountability and progression on tasks across the management team.
  • Support internal communication, organization, and business initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and presentations to aid decision-making.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistical details for business and personal needs.
  • Identify and implement improvements to administrative systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage personal administrative tasks including scheduling, bill payments, subscriptions, expenses, and family logistics.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with HR-related and personnel administration matters when required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant, or Business Support capacity.
  • Proven track record in supporting senior leadership teams and C-suite executives.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and organizational software.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities with a calm and efficient approach to complex demands.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong capability in managing follow-ups and engagements with various stakeholders diplomatically.
  • Impeccable confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
