About Lot Fourteen and The Circle

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet manages Lot Fourteen, a $790 million innovation district in Adelaide's CBD, forming a key part of South Australia's Innovation Places network. This initiative attracts leading global technology firms, startups, defence industry leaders, and research institutes, building a prominent hub across defence, space, cyber, and critical technologies sectors. Renowned organisations include Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, the Australian Space Agency, and more.

The Circle operates within Lot Fourteen to support First Nations businesses, offering culturally safe, opportunity-driven services that promote innovation and business growth. It provides access to business networks, support services, solutions, and advice aimed at strengthening the capacity and confidence of First Nations entrepreneurs and enterprises.

Role Overview

The Events and Communications Officer will manage and execute communication and engagement efforts aligned with The Circle's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include leading The Circle’s Communications Plan development and execution, creating diverse content for various communication platforms such as the website, LinkedIn, newsletters, fact sheets, and promotional material while ensuring brand consistency and communication excellence.

This role also entails planning and delivering a program of events including The Circle’s flagship First Nations Business Showcase, business development activities, and regional engagement events. Collaborative coordination with both internal Lot Fourteen teams and external stakeholders will be essential to successfully source, develop, and publish relevant content across multiple channels.

Remuneration

The position offers remuneration aligned with the ASO5 classification, ranging from $89,007 to $98,991 plus superannuation.
