Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Evening Housekeeping Supervisor to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. This role involves overseeing the evening housekeeping operations throughout lodges, villas, and public areas to ensure adherence to the highest standards and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent implementation of departmental and Leading Hotels of the World standards across all accommodation and public spaces.
- Supervise and inspect guest rooms, lodges, villas, and operational back-of-house zones, including turn-down service and laundry quality.
- Manage task allocation and scheduling within the accommodation team, including key control and monitoring employee performance.
- Coordinate daily with reception to stay informed about occupancy levels, VIP guest needs, and special requests.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure the upkeep of equipment, supplies, and inventory control.
- Assist in managing departmental costs relating to staff rosters, supplies, utilities, and waste minimization.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a supportive and professional team environment.
- Encourage and enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols within the department.
- Deliver courteous, professional, and personalized guest service in alignment with Adare Manor’s ethos and service values.
- Collaborate flexibly with management and other departments to support business operations, including occasional weekend shifts.
