  • Manage proactive media outreach, including press engagement, briefings, announcements, interview coordination, spokesperson preparation, and reputation-related communications.
  • Develop lasting relationships with journalists, editors, event organizers, researchers, and other key stakeholders across European markets.
  • Create localized communication strategies that account for the cultural, political, and social context of each market.
  • Partner with teams in marketing, product, research, engineering, legal, policy, partnerships, and safety to align messaging and priorities.
  • Prepare executive-level materials such as talking points, FAQs, press statements, partnership updates, investment communications, and market expansion announcements.
  • Oversee regional speaking opportunities, award submissions, leadership appearances, and company events in coordination with global communications teams.
  • Track market and industry developments, spot story opportunities, and communicate technical progress in a way that is clear and engaging to broad audiences.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, whether in an agency or a fast-growing technology company.
  • A strong track record of building trusted relationships with leading media outlets and journalists throughout Europe.
  • Solid familiarity with both established and newer media formats, including research publications, technical communities, podcasts, and digital creators.
  • Proven ability to explain technical or scientific subjects in a way that is understandable and compelling for different audiences.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation abilities, including experience creating executive communication content.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing several priorities at once while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating across technical and commercial teams in environments that are fast-paced and constantly changing.
  • Strong strategic judgment, stakeholder management capability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working independently as part of a fully remote, internationally distributed team.

Perks and benefits

  • Compensation is competitive and depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
  • Fully remote working arrangement with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
  • The chance to work with leading specialists in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • A high-impact role with substantial ownership of regional communications strategy.
  • An international, collaborative, and innovation-focused workplace.
  • An inclusive environment that values diversity, equity, and equal opportunity.
  • Opportunities for professional learning and career advancement in a fast-growing organization.
