Role Overview

This office-based position supports the sales function by producing precise, competitive estimates for windows and doors. Direct experience in glazing or windows is not required; candidates with a technically minded approach, strong attention to detail, and confidence working with plans and specifications will be trained for the role.

Key Duties

  • Review construction drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Measure and calculate quantities for pricing and quoting
  • Choose suitable products that meet customer needs and required standards
  • Prepare quotations and orders through internal systems, with V6 experience viewed favourably
  • Work closely with internal departments and customers to keep quotes moving
  • Track up on quotations and assist the wider sales process

About You

The ideal candidate is inquisitive, analytical, and comfortable working through problems methodically. A practical technical mindset, strong accuracy, and the ability to juggle deadlines are important for success in this role.

Preferred Background

While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have estimating experience in construction or a related field, familiarity with reading plans or building products, and knowledge of the NCC or Australian Standards.
