About the Opportunity

The Civil & Infrastructure division is expanding, and the business is seeking an experienced Estimator with a solid background in water and wastewater infrastructure to join the Gold Coast team. The opening has come up because of major project wins, internal advancement, and a growing tender pipeline. This position suits someone who wants to take ownership of important civil infrastructure tenders across Southeast Queensland and the Northern Rivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build detailed estimates using a mix of supplier quotations and first-principles rate analysis.
• Prepare tender and budget estimates from start to finish.
• Measure quantities and check work scope to validate cost assumptions.
• Apply rates and pricing to arrive at final construction costs.
• Work with internal stakeholders throughout the estimating process.
• Support the improvement of estimating systems, resource tracking, and rate libraries.
• Partner with the Business Development team to support growth and identify new opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support a reliable, high-quality supply chain.
• Liaise regularly with clients and client representatives in target markets.
• Represent the business positively to help open up new opportunities.
• Take part in early tender-stage discussions with the Estimating Manager and other team members.
• Assist the Project Team with post-tender meetings, clarification requests, and discussion points.

About You

• You bring a strong commitment to quality and professionalism in everything you do.
• You are experienced with Expert Estimation, or a comparable estimating platform.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a proven record in a similar role.
• You communicate clearly and manage your time well.
• You are self-driven and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
