Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and disciplined Equity Dealer responsible for carrying out equity trades, including cash market and intraday transactions, on behalf of the company. The ideal candidate will actively monitor market changes, execute buy and sell orders, oversee trading positions, and adhere to company policies on trading and risk management.
Key Duties
- Perform equity trades aligned with the company’s trading strategies in both cash and intraday markets.
- Continuously track real-time market trends, relevant news, and price movements during trading sessions.
- Place, adjust, and close buy/sell orders on the authorized trading platform.
- Implement strict stop-loss orders and manage risks diligently.
- Monitor open trading positions and generate daily profit and loss reports.
- Analyze markets using both technical and fundamental methods to spot trading opportunities.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all trades executed.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, exchange standards, and internal company rules.
- Collaborate with management to discuss trading performance and market updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in equity trading or dealing; candidates with strong market knowledge and no experience may be considered.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Indian stock market, trading platforms, and relevant terminology.
- Knowledge of technical analysis, chart reading, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with trading software tools.

- Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making capability.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure during trading hours.
- Excellent numerical competence and effective communication skills.
- Discipline to adhere strictly to trading plans and risk controls.
- Certification from NISM in Equity Derivatives or Equity Dealer Module is advantageous.
Working Conditions & Salary
- Workdays: Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM or as per market hours and company policy.
- Employment Type: Full-time position.
- Salary is commensurate with industry standards, experience, and job performance.
- Performance-based incentives may be granted.
