Role Summary

We seek a motivated professional for an Analyst/Senior Analyst position in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) within our Global Center in Mumbai. This role involves key execution support, research, analytics, and operations assistance to ECM teams worldwide. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering financial analysis, communication, and practical skills. High performing individuals have opportunities for global mobility and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support global ECM origination and syndicate teams on equity and equity-linked deals including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, and convertibles.
  • Coordinate deal execution efforts by liaising with team members, monitoring deliverables, and managing workflows aligned with transaction timelines.
  • Perform detailed market, sector, and precedent transaction analyses including valuation benchmarks and pricing evaluations.
  • Assess client shareholder bases to facilitate targeted investor strategies.
  • Contribute to investor targeting and market intelligence through compiling shareholder analytics, trading data, and investor feedback.
  • Prepare and refresh marketing collateral such as pitch books, presentation decks, market updates, and internal documentation.
  • Maintain and improve ECM-related databases, dashboards, and reports essential for senior management oversight and deal pipelines.
  • Support roadshow activities including wall-crossing processes, coordinating investor communications, and analyzing post-deal outcomes.
  • Drive process enhancements, automation projects, and technical initiatives to boost data reliability, efficiency, and scalability of ECM workflows.
  • Provide additional analytical and operational assistance to address evolving business requirements and ensure smooth transaction execution.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses an MBA, Chartered Accountant qualification, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • Has 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or equity capital markets.
  • Exhibits a strong interest in corporate finance and ECM dynamics.
  • Demonstrates proficient written and spoken English communication abilities.
  • Shows excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
  • Has strong analytical and numerical aptitude, comfortable working with financial data.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, multitasking environments and adapts with agility.
  • Is a motivated team player with a solid work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Capable of managing stakeholder expectations and handling high-pressure situations adeptly.
  • Pays exceptional attention to detail; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, Dealogic, and LSEG market data platforms is essential.
  • Knowledge or experience in programming, coding, or AI tools is an asset.
