Role overview
This opportunity is for a Health & Safety Specialist to help oversee safety activities within a factory environment. The position calls for a degree holder with NEBOSH or IOSH certification and focuses on inspection work, training delivery, and maintaining compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine workplace safety checks and assess potential risks.
- Run safety awareness sessions and induction training for employees.
- Look into incidents, document findings, and compile reports.
- Track adherence to safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
- Keep accurate safety logs, files, and related documentation up to date.
- Assist with planning and readiness for emergency situations.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline is required.
- Professional certification from NEBOSH or IOSH is required.
- Experience working in an industrial safety role will be considered an advantage.
- Applicants should have strong communication abilities and the capacity to write clear reports.
