Job description
Job Overview
We are recruiting an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist based in Singapore to provide comprehensive EHS support for TikTok's regional sites. This position collaborates closely with the TikTok EHS Manager to manage daily EHS activities, ensuring adherence to corporate EHS policies and Singapore's regulatory requirements. The role also involves leading incident management, conducting site inspections, delivering safety training, and championing cross-functional EHS initiatives to foster a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional TikTok EHS Manager in managing daily EHS operations.
- Deliver EHS assistance to regional business partners across Singapore locations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate EHS standards, the Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act, NEA regulations, and other local legislation.
- Manage the full spectrum of EHS incident responses, including investigation, root-cause analysis, and monitoring corrective actions.
- Perform routine EHS site inspections and internal audits; oversee follow-up and resolution of all action points.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, training, safety committees, and standard procedures aligned with global and local business requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet regional EHS goals encompassing staff wellness, ergonomic practices, employee assistance programs, and industrial hygiene.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health & Safety, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's MOM WSH regulations, NEA environmental standards, as well as office and construction safety requirements.
- At least 2 years of hands-on EHS experience.
- Highly self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and promote EHS improvements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to influence internal teams and establish enduring cross-departmental relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications to produce detailed EHS reports, risk assessments, and audit documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support operational business needs.
- Preference given to candidates open to regional and international business travel.
