Environmental Field Subconsultant (Phase I ESA / PCA) - San Antonio, TX

Opportunity Overview

Blew & Associates, P.A. is expanding its network of experienced Field Professionals to engage in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA). This subcontractor role involves collaborative project work within the commercial real estate due diligence sector across the United States, supporting our dedicated team.

Role Responsibilities

As a member of our approved Subconsultant Network, candidates will perform onsite property inspections and create comprehensive, professional reports adhering to ASTM and industry standards. This position suits professionals seeking flexible, project-based assignments with an established national company.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites for field inspections.
• At least two years of experience performing Phase I ESA and/or PCA evaluations.
• Proficiency in technical writing, capable of independently completing detailed assessment reports.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for ESA or applicable PCA guidelines.
• Experience with Quire or similar report generation software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Professional certifications such as CEP, RA, PE, or equivalent are beneficial but not required.
• Certifications in Radon or AHERA (Asbestos) preferred.
• Experience handling assessments under the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD frameworks is desirable.
