Environmental Field Subconsultant (Phase I ESA / PCA)

Overview

We are expanding our network of experienced Field Professionals to assist with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA). This subcontractor role supports the commercial real estate due diligence sector, collaborating remotely with our permanent team on assignments nationwide.

Key Duties

• Conduct on-site property inspections in line with ASTM and relevant industry protocols.
• Independently prepare detailed professional reports following established standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel to project locations for field inspections.
• At least two years’ experience performing Phase I ESA and/or PCA evaluations.
• Strong technical writing capabilities to finalize complete reports without supervision.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards applicable to ESA or PCA processes.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Familiarity with Quire or similar report authoring software.
• Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related disciplines.
• Beneficial credentials include CEP, RA, PE, or equivalents.
• Certifications in Radon or AHERA (Asbestos) testing considered advantageous.
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD project scopes is a plus.
