Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated waste management operatives (all genders) to join our team at various locations throughout Hamburg. In flexible shift patterns, you will work across seven depots in the greater Hamburg area, playing an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness of the city.

Key Responsibilities

• Emptying waste containers efficiently and safely.
• Cleaning roads and green spaces to uphold public hygiene.
• Post-event cleaning to restore cleanliness after large gatherings.
• Collecting bulky waste items and managing disposal.
• Utilizing a variety of tools to eliminate all types of litter and contamination.
• Ensuring the overall tidiness of streets and public green areas in Hamburg.

Candidate Profile

• Enjoyment of physical labor and outdoor work under any weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Good command of the German language.
• Class B driver's license required; class C/CE licenses are a plus and can be trained on the job if missing.
• Reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and strong team spirit.
