Role overview

English 1 is looking for enthusiastic, internationally minded people to join as full-time English teachers in China. This opening is designed for someone starting out, switching careers, or already certified in ESL/TEFL who wants to teach abroad, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a meaningful cultural exchange. Prior classroom experience is not required, as the company provides training, teaching resources, and visa support.

Additional details

This position includes a competitive salary with a performance-related bonus after 6 months. Benefits also include 21 days of paid leave in total, made up of 10 days of paid leave and 11 statutory holidays, plus a flight allowance, co-paid international health insurance, airport pickup support, and up to 2 weeks of sponsored hotel accommodation. A legal Z work visa is sponsored, and visa expenses are reimbursed. The hotel stay for the first two weeks is treated as sponsorship if the first-year contract is successfully completed. New hires receive induction training, ongoing assistance, ready-to-use teaching materials, TEFL certificate support, skill development, and access to distance learning programs such as Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM. The employer also organizes social and cultural activities and provides free Mandarin Chinese lessons.
