This is a full-time, beginner-friendly teaching opportunity for people who want to build an international career, gain classroom experience, and work overseas. The role is open to recent graduates, career changers, and ESL/TEFL-qualified teachers looking for a move abroad. No prior teaching experience is required, as the employer provides training, learning materials, and visa support.

The position involves teaching English in China as part of a global education environment. It is designed for candidates who are open to cultural exchange, student engagement, and professional growth.

Role overview

  • Work with children and young learners between the ages of 3 and 16 in an engaging classroom setting.
  • Use the organisation’s curriculum and digital teaching tools to deliver lively English lessons.
  • Support students with helpful feedback so they can improve confidence and language ability.
  • Join school-based events, cultural programmes, and activities that encourage student participation.

Support and benefits

  • Base pay with a performance bonus available after 6 months.
  • 21 days of paid leave in total, made up of 10 paid leave days and 11 statutory holidays.
  • Flight allowance.
  • International medical insurance with shared cost coverage.
  • Airport pickup assistance.
  • Sponsored legal Z work visa support, along with up to 2 weeks of sponsored hotel accommodation.
  • Structured induction training, ongoing guidance, and fully prepared lesson materials.
  • TEFL certificate support plus opportunities for skill-building and career progression.
  • Access to distance learning courses such as Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM.
  • Organised social and cultural activities, plus free Mandarin Chinese lessons.

Eligibility and candidate profile

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and have a valid passport. A sincere interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange is important. ESL certifications such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA are helpful, though sponsorship may be available. A clean background check is also required.

Additional information

The first two weeks of hotel accommodation are treated as sponsored support if the first-year contract is completed successfully. Visa-related expenses for the sponsored legal Z work visa will be reimbursed.
