Job description

Position summary

The Entrepreneur in Residence role is focused on spotting promising business ideas, checking whether they are viable, and turning them into new products, ventures, or growth opportunities. It brings together entrepreneurial judgment, market and strategic analysis, and hands-on delivery to move concepts from idea stage to launch and scale. In this position, you will work alongside senior leaders, investors, product teams, and external partners to help shape ideas into real businesses.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new markets, business models, and growth opportunities.
  • Carry out customer research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Create business cases, financial models, and plans for bringing offerings to market.
  • Test product and venture ideas through experiments and feedback from customers.
  • Drive the early development and launch of new services, products, or ventures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with founders, investors, strategic partners, and industry contacts.
  • Work with product, technology, marketing, and operations teams to move initiatives forward.
  • Prepare presentations, investment decks, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Track venture progress and define key performance indicators for success.
  • Contribute to fundraising, partnership building, and broader ecosystem engagement when needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related field.
  • Background in startups, venture building, innovation, product management, consulting, strategy, or business development.
  • Strong analytical thinking, financial modeling ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Comfort working in uncertain, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial settings.
  • Prior experience launching products, initiatives, or businesses is strongly preferred.
