Role Overview

The Entrepreneur in Residence plays a crucial role in creating innovative products and broadening the global financial ecosystem quickly and effectively. This role involves spearheading challenging projects from inception through to market launch and scale, combining business strategy, product development, and go-to-market execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop new product initiatives or revive underperforming ventures.
• Maintain full ownership of product profit and loss, including strategy, revenue modeling, growth initiatives, and optimization.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from idea through design, development, launch, growth, and maintenance phases.
• Ensure high team standards by recruiting top talent, setting goals, and conducting consistent performance reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Design, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Financial Crime departments to drive product delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in STEM or another quantitatively intensive discipline from a prestigious university.
• Over four years of experience in fast-growth environments such as technology startups, leading consultancy firms, or investment banking.
• More than two years’ experience as a startup founder or co-founder.
• Proven capability in hands-on development and launch of technical or digital products across product management, engineering, strategy, or operations functions.
• Demonstrable experience in recruiting and managing teams of 10 or more employees.
• Strong analytical thinking coupled with structured problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience securing investment from notable private equity or venture capital firms, or acceptance into Y Combinator.
• A master’s degree from a top-tier institution.
• Practical coding skills in SQL, Python, or R.
• Background or interest in financial services.
