Role Summary
This remote full-time position is for an Enterprise Account Manager focused on government accounts. The job is centered on winning public-sector contracts for enterprise software products and building long-term relationships with agencies across federal, state, and local levels.
The opportunity is for a client of Hired and is open to candidates who can work from anywhere in Kenya.
The compensation range shared for this role is $220,000 to $400,000 per year.
What You’ll Do
- Create and carry out outreach plans to connect with government stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Identify, pursue, and advance new business opportunities within federal, state, and local government bodies.
- Work closely with internal teams to align solutions with government procurement expectations and buying processes.
- Ensure all activities remain aligned with public-sector contracting rules, compliance obligations, and reporting requirements.
- Monitor pipeline health, renewal progress, and revenue performance, then share regular updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in government sales, business development, or account management.
- Working knowledge of U.S. public-sector procurement at the federal, state, or local level.
- Strong skill in negotiation and contract handling.
- Ability to interpret market trends and government spending patterns.
- Exposure to enterprise software or technology solutions.
