Role overview
This position is for a senior enterprise seller based in the United States and working fully remotely, with occasional travel as business opportunities require. The business operates in the B2B SaaS space with a focus on sales tax compliance software. It is a fast-scaling Series B company that automates a traditionally manual and error-prone process so customers can concentrate on growth.
The team sells across e-commerce and SaaS markets, and this opening is centered on the more technically demanding SaaS segment. In this environment, deals often involve custom integrations, API discussions, and detailed technical reviews. The culture is described as highly driven, collaborative, and professional, with expectations set for experienced sellers who take accountability and consistently perform at a high level.
Compensation
The role offers a base salary of $110K to $130K and on-target earnings of $220K to $260K. Commission is uncapped.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete sales process for large, complex SaaS opportunities, from initial discovery through final close.
- Engage with C-level decision-makers and coordinate across multiple stakeholders on the buyer side.
- Handle enterprise-level sales conversations that include technical assessments, integrations, and consultative problem solving.
- Help create and organize a prospecting engine, working alongside an SDR to generate outbound pipeline.
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to keep deals progressing.
- Maintain strong forecasting discipline and accurate pipeline tracking.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant brings senior-level enterprise closing experience and is comfortable working in technically complex sales environments. Success in this role requires strong ownership, the ability to influence multiple stakeholders, and the discipline to move deals quickly while still staying consultative.
Experience selling to globally distributed companies is important, and familiarity with higher-complexity buyers is especially valuable. A track record of commitment and stability in past roles is preferred over frequent short-term moves. Background in financial services or similar technically advanced, fast-growing customer segments is considered an advantage.
Work arrangement
This is a remote role within the United States. Travel may be required depending on deal needs.
