Job description
About the company
You’ll be joining a rapidly scaling seed-stage AI infrastructure company that is creating an end-to-end testing and observability solution for conversational AI systems, covering both voice-based and chat-based agents. The business has crossed seven figures in annual recurring revenue within its first year, is supported by leading investors, and serves large enterprises as well as Fortune 500 customers.
The role
As Chief of Staff, you will work side by side with the CEO in a broad, high-impact generalist capacity spanning strategy, operations, and execution. This position is designed for someone who is highly self-directed, trusted with meaningful ownership, and energized by ambiguous, fast-changing priorities.
You will act as an extension of the leadership team and help solve the most urgent business challenges wherever support is needed most.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CEO on strategic planning, operational workstreams, and special initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects from early concept through completion.
- Introduce structure, clarity, and discipline into planning and decision-making.
- Amplify the effectiveness of the leadership team by removing bottlenecks and keeping initiatives moving.
- Step into the highest-priority business issues as they arise.
Candidate profile
- Strong overall capability and versatility, with the ability to contribute across both strategic and operational work.
- Experience from a top-tier background in finance, consulting, or operations, often complemented by an MBA.
- Comfortable working with incomplete information, evolving priorities, and a high degree of autonomy.
- Prior exposure to an early-stage startup, ideally before Series C, with evidence of handling multiple responsibilities at once.
- Available to work from the San Francisco office five days a week.
Compensation
The role offers a competitive base salary plus on-target earnings, with compensation aligned to experience.
Work model
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA.
