Role overview
This position is for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives on building new business and driving revenue growth. The focus is on creating and carrying out a territory-based sales plan that leads to new customer wins and expansion opportunities.
Candidates must be located in Singapore, as the working model is hybrid and requires local availability.
Responsibilities
- Consistently research, approach, qualify, and advance prospects to build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Win new business and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings goals.
- Develop trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders to uncover growth opportunities.
- Take part in sales development programs, including Sales Bootcamp, advanced sales training, and leadership development initiatives.
- Partner closely with the Professional Services team to support strong customer outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is mandatory.
- At least 8 years of quota-carrying field sales experience in a fast-moving, highly competitive environment, with emphasis on strategic accounts in Indonesia.
- Fluency in Bahasa is required.
- Strong ability to explain the business impact and value of complex enterprise technology.
- Proven history of exceeding targets and consistently delivering strong sales performance.
- Capability to build executive support, manage complex deals, and run structured sales cycles.
- Prior training in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales is preferred.
- Exposure to databases, developer tools, and open-source technology is an advantage.
- A highly driven, competitive mindset with a clear desire to succeed.
- Effective at time management, prioritization, and opportunity qualification.
- Quick learner with the credibility, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness to work effectively with customers.
- Genuine interest in growing a career in the database software market and developing deep product knowledge of MongoDB.
- Strong presentation and listening abilities.
- Comfortable with consultative and bold selling approaches.
- Solid experience managing the assigned market and maintaining long-term account relationships.
- Experience working with channels and ecosystems in Indonesia.
