Job description
Role Overview
This is a senior individual-contributor role for an enterprise sales professional to help expand a global AI and deep-tech business across Qatar and the wider Middle East. The position carries high autonomy and full responsibility for the market in Qatar and the broader regional territory.
The role focuses on selling high-impact AI solutions to major enterprises in highly complex environments, where multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, tailored solution design, and large commercial commitments are the norm. You will regularly engage with senior leaders such as CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, and CFOs.
Enterprise Sales and Revenue Ownership
You will manage the entire enterprise sales journey, starting with discovery and qualification and continuing through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and account growth.
The expectation is to create and close opportunities in the €500K–€1M+ TCV range, with an ambition to pursue strategic multi-year deals valued at €10M+.
A disciplined pipeline is essential, including at least 3x coverage against annual quota, supported by accurate forecasting and structured deal management.
You will be accountable for annual revenue delivery while also protecting long-term client relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
All opportunities must be maintained accurately in the CRM in line with company requirements.
Market Development and Go-to-Market Execution
You will shape and deliver a country-level go-to-market approach across priority industries and enterprise segments, with quarterly review and refinement.
The role includes identifying and activating new business opportunities in AI transformation, quantum-inspired optimisation, and sovereign AI infrastructure.
You will represent the business at senior levels across the enterprise ecosystem, including executive forums, industry bodies, and sector events.
Building productive relationships with system integrators, Big 4 firms, and industry-specific alliance partners is also a core part of the job.
Consultative Solution Selling
This role requires a discovery-led, business-outcome-focused sales approach rather than a product-first pitch.
You will work with C-suite leaders and senior technical stakeholders to uncover both obvious and hidden needs where AI and quantum computing can deliver lasting advantage.
Working closely with technical and research teams, you will help craft bespoke use cases, transformation roadmaps, business cases, and solution blueprints.
Complex technical capabilities must be translated into clear executive-level value propositions.
You will also need to manage procurement, legal, compliance, and multi-party approval processes with professionalism and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Commercial Leadership
As the commercial point person on major opportunities, you will keep product, engineering, solutions, legal, and finance aligned and moving forward.
You will provide regular market feedback and commercial insight to product and senior leadership.
Part of the role also involves working with marketing and partnerships to strengthen brand visibility, thought leadership, event presence, and ecosystem development.
Customer Partnership and Long-Term Value
You will build multi-layered relationships inside strategic accounts, spanning technical teams through to board-level decision-makers.
The goal is to become a trusted advisor on AI strategy and innovation for the company’s most important enterprise clients in the region.
You will also support deployment and adoption together with Customer Success so customers achieve the expected value from their investment.
Required Background
Applicants should have at least 2 years of direct revenue-generating experience in an AI scale-up or fast-growing AI/deep-tech company, gained within the last 5–10 years of total professional experience. The company environment should have involved building an AI market rather than operating in an already mature one.
There must be a proven record of closing, or being the main contributor to closing, enterprise deals with individual TCV of €500K or more.
A significant portion of revenue should have come from new-logo accounts developed from the ground up rather than inherited accounts or inbound-only business.
Native Arabic fluency and fluent English are both required.
