Position Overview
The role is for an English Teacher at Abdulaziz International School, Al-Sulaimaniah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Teaching & Academics department. The position sits under the SABIS® education network, which operates in 21 countries across five continents and serves both private and public-sector students through its long-established educational system.

Job Purpose
The main objective of this role is to support student achievement and help learners reach their full potential by applying the SABIS® curriculum, philosophy, and teaching methodology consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons using the lesson plans provided, and where needed, create lesson plans based on pacing charts so the SABIS® point system can be applied effectively.
- Assess and grade exams for the subject taught according to the timetable and the materials supplied by the department.
- Coordinate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on student behavior concerns and academic performance matters when required.
- Use the SABIS® Point System to maintain a classroom atmosphere that supports learning.
- Supervise examinations when necessary and help maintain an orderly, well-managed testing environment.
- Support students who are struggling academically by guiding, encouraging, and motivating them to improve.
- Help prepare students for external examinations by reviewing prior papers as part of the planned revision schedule, where relevant to the grade level.
- Assist with additional school duties such as student testing, covering for absent teachers, managing lunch and bus arrangements, monitoring traffic flow, and other administrative tasks assigned by school leadership.
- Take part in planning and running student-life activities, including events such as art activities, open houses, and physical education initiatives, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
- Attend training sessions when requested by school management to strengthen understanding of the SABIS® system and improve student outcomes.
- Carry out other related tasks or projects as assigned by school management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The school is looking for someone with a degree in a relevant subject area or an equivalent qualification, strong spoken and written English ability, at least one year of teaching experience, and a professional, ethical approach to work.
