Job Overview
Mapleford International School invites applications for the position of English Teacher based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive English instruction aligned with the CBSE syllabus, fostering students' language skills and preparing them for academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct engaging English lessons covering grammar, literature, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and teaching-learning materials to enhance student learning.
- Evaluate student progress through class activities, assignments, projects, and formal examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records and regularly update parents on their child's performance.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and strong communication abilities among students.
- Incorporate digital resources and innovative instructional methods in classroom teaching.
- Establish a disciplined yet encouraging and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in English coupled with a B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- A minimum of two to three years teaching experience within the CBSE framework is preferred.
- Exceptional command over both spoken and written English language.
- Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and smart classroom technologies.
