This part-time remote opportunity is for an English Specialist supporting a client-focused assessment process. The work is centered on reviewing English language proficiency submissions from non-native speakers and judging both written and spoken answers against set standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assess written and spoken English responses to determine proficiency levels.
- Score submissions using predefined rubrics and evaluation guidelines.
- Share precise, consistent feedback on language performance.
- Record evaluation outcomes carefully for quality control purposes.
- Meet tight timelines while keeping all assessment content confidential.
Required qualifications
- Native-level or close-to-native English proficiency is mandatory.
- Background in language evaluation, teaching, or a similar field is preferred.
- Strong eye for detail and the discipline to follow structured scoring rules.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of language frameworks such as CEFR is an advantage.
