About the Role
We are collaborating with a dynamic Private Markets investment manager specializing in Private Equity who is looking to strengthen their Investor Relations team with a driven analyst or associate proficient in English. This role bridges investment and investor relations, supporting institutional investors and family offices throughout their engagement lifecycle, and offers the opportunity to evolve towards a more independent IR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine top-quality investor communications including presentations, due diligence questionnaire responses, quarterly reports, and pitchbooks in coordination with investment and product teams.
- Organize and prepare materials for investor meetings, roadshows, and industry events.
- Assist actively in fundraising operations, manage co-investment proposals, and support club deal arrangements.
- Maintain customer relationship management systems and systematically track investor contacts and the fundraising pipeline.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategic positioning of fund offerings.
- Serve as a liaison among legal, compliance, and product departments concerning fund structure and regulatory information.
Candidate Profile
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields; CFA candidacy or equivalent professional qualifications are advantageous.
- Between 2 and 5 years’ experience in areas such as Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Asset Management, or Institutional Client Relations.
- Good knowledge of Alternative Investments, fund structures, and institutional investment procedures; direct experience in Private Markets is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Experience interacting with institutional investors or family offices, either through client-facing roles or relevant project involvement.
- Exceptional ability to manage complex information accurately, with excellent English communication skills, both written and oral. German language skills are beneficial but not necessary.
- Methodical, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong propensity to take initiative and flourish in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
