About the Role

English 1 is seeking passionate and culturally curious educators eager to elevate their teaching careers abroad in China. This opportunity is ideal for experienced ESL teachers or those transitioning from other teaching roles who want to teach English internationally, expand their professional skills, and engage with a global education community.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to children aged 3 to 16 using dynamic and interactive classroom methods.
• Utilize English 1's acclaimed curriculum and digital teaching tools to deliver engaging lessons.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote learning.
• Engage in school events, cultural programs, and community involvement activities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary supplemented by a performance bonus after six months.
• 21 days of paid leave, which includes 10 regular paid days plus 11 statutory holidays.

Note: The initial two-week hotel stay and visa costs are reimbursed and contingent upon successful completion of a one-year contract with the organization.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Possession of a valid passport.
• Strong interest in education, travel, and cross-cultural exchange.
• ESL certifications such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA are advantageous and the organization offers sponsorship if necessary.
• Clear criminal background check.
