Overview

Welo Data is hiring experienced quality reviewers for a high-visibility AI training data initiative created with one of the world’s leading voice AI platforms. In this verification role, you will help improve how AI interprets and responds to people around the world by checking transcription quality and making sure it follows the required standards.

What you will do

• Examine short audio transcriptions of around 5 seconds each to confirm they are accurate and follow the provided instructions.
• Accept transcriptions that are correct, or send back those that need changes, along with specific and useful feedback.
• Spot mistakes in punctuation, formatting, and compliance with the style guide, then correct them where needed.
• Assist analysts by sharing thoughtful feedback that helps improve overall output quality.
• Escalate repeated problems to the project lead so they can be addressed.

Project details

Start date: ASAP

Assignment length: 6 weeks, with a chance of extension

Weekly time commitment: 10–20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks

Engagement type: Freelance

Work mode: Remote, but applicants must be based in Singapore

Language: English

Pay rate: USD 25.19 per hour

Requirements

• Near-native or native-level English fluency.
• Strong writing ability with excellent grammar, punctuation, and style awareness.
• Previous experience in quality review, editing, transcription QA, or a closely related area.
• A sharp eye for small inconsistencies in formatting and guideline compliance.
• Ability to provide professional, clear, and constructive written feedback.
• Comfort with annotation or linguistic QA tools is helpful, though not mandatory.
• Availability to work 10–20 hours each week for the full 6-week period.
• A dependable computer, quality headphones, and stable internet access.
