About the Function
The Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and planning hotel facilities so they remain fully available and serviceable while keeping disruption to guests to a minimum. The role also covers overseeing repairs, preventive maintenance, and reconstruction work to make sure everything meets required standards, along with maintaining effective emergency recovery arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day engineering operations in accordance with the hotel’s service standards and procedures.
- Take initiative to exceed expectations whenever possible.
- Reduce guest complaints and support service recovery when issues arise.
- Communicate proactively with colleagues while keeping the guest’s best interests in focus.
Requirements
- A minimum certification in Maintenance Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hospitality environment is expected.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance for hotel assets is needed.
