Job description
Programme overview
This two-year graduate pathway is designed to give you broad exposure to engineering and technology work across Rolls-Royce in Singapore. You will be part of the Engineering, Technology and Safety organisation (ET&S), which supports multiple business divisions, and you will rotate through different project-based assignments to build a strong foundation for your career.
The programme is based across Jurong and Seletar, Singapore, and combines office/site-based work with flexible hybrid working. On average, you are expected to be on site three days each week, although the exact pattern may change depending on the assignment.
What the role involves
- Contributing to a variety of engineering projects, including power generation solutions for critical applications, civil aircraft engines, and end-to-end customer support services.
- Understanding how engineering needs vary across different sectors while applying core engineering principles consistently.
- Building practical experience in operations and engineering tasks to help develop, refine, and improve manufacturing methods and processes.
- Supporting processes so they continue to meet business and customer expectations across safety, quality, cost, delivery performance, and lead time.
- Sharing ideas that can improve engineering design, process efficiency, or overall operational performance.
- Learning and applying practices related to safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability in engineering environments.
- Taking part in a blend of digital learning, hands-on training, and project work that turns ideas into real outcomes.
- Working with a dedicated career coach to build a personalised development plan and support your progression.
- Exploring opportunities to work toward professional qualifications and ongoing learning.
Skills and profile sought
- A degree in a STEM discipline, or a joint degree combining STEM with business or economics.
- Strong interest in the future of technology and engineering innovation.
- Ability to adapt, stay curious, and take an agile approach to learning and work.
- Willingness to work flexibly and travel between locations when required for rotational assignments.
