Job description

Programme overview

Rolls-Royce is seeking graduates for a 24-month Engineering and Technology Graduate Programme based in Jurong and Seletar, Singapore. The programme is designed to give you a broad view of the business, strong technical exposure, and support to help you shape your career path within the company.

You will join the Engineering, Technology and Safety (ET&S) organisation, which works across multiple divisions. Through rotational assignments, you will gain experience across the engineering lifecycle and build capability in areas such as mechanical systems, manufacturing, software and digital, electrical engineering, materials, and development. These placements may sit within central ET&S teams or within Civil Aerospace, Defence, or Power Systems.

The role is structured to expand your network, strengthen your technical foundation, and help you identify the best long-term fit within the organisation.

What you will do

  • Contribute to varied engineering projects, including power generation solutions for critical applications, civil aircraft engines, and end-to-end customer support across the product lifecycle.
  • Learn how engineering expectations change across different applications and sectors while applying core engineering principles consistently.
  • Build practical experience in engineering and operations work to develop, sustain, and improve manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Help ensure processes deliver against safety, quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead time targets.
  • Share ideas that can improve engineering approaches, designs, and operational performance.
  • Develop your understanding of safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability in engineering operations.
  • Take part in digital learning, on-the-job training, and development activities that bring your ideas into practical use.
  • Work with a dedicated career coach who will help you build a tailored development plan and support your progress.
  • Have access to opportunities for professional qualifications and continuous learning.

Candidate profile

  • You should hold a degree in a STEM discipline, or a joint honours degree combining STEM with a subject such as business or economics.
  • You need to show genuine enthusiasm for the future of technology.
  • You must be comfortable working flexibly and travelling between locations when required for rotational assignments.
  • You should bring an open-minded, curious, and adaptable approach to work and career development.

Working arrangement

This programme follows a hybrid model that balances time between the office, home, or another remote working location. On average, employees are expected on site three days per week. Exact arrangements can differ depending on the role and the specific rotation. Flexible working is encouraged wherever possible.

Culture and values

Rolls-Royce emphasises safety, doing the right thing, simplicity, and making a positive difference. The company also describes itself as respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory, with an environment where individual differences are valued and diverse perspectives contribute to innovation.
