Role overview
This position focuses on workshop services and maintenance planning for instrumentation systems at the site. The aim is to keep operations running smoothly and safely while staying aligned with legal requirements and company procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily work in line with approved policies, procedures, SOPs, and maintenance instructions so activities remain controlled and consistent.
- Stay updated on industry practices and emerging trends, and help improve systems, processes, and procedures.
- Prepare testing methods and templates, and help standardize best practices and group guidance for improving instrumentation systems.
- Support the preparation of workshop instrumentation maintenance budgets and cost plans, and share inputs for better resource use and planning.
- Build daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for instrumentation work in coordination with planning and plant maintenance teams.
- Track workshop instrumentation KPIs and help ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Handle important instrumentation maintenance tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Coordinate with other teams, follow up on external repair work, and oversee maintenance of related instrumentation equipment in common site areas.
- Support planned shutdown and turnaround work on instrumentation equipment and systems, including timely testing and calibration.
- Assist with spare parts inventory management by identifying parts, monitoring stock levels, checking incoming materials, and supporting the availability and standardization of critical spares.
- Help troubleshoot major issues and carry out repair and refurbishment of instrumentation equipment and components.
- Prepare compliance and audit documentation and support adherence to statutory and HSE requirements, including RESOP, CASHe, and mandatory HSEF trainings.
- Maintain repair logs, test records, MIS reports, and other maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
- Take on any additional tasks assigned by senior authority as required.
Education requirement
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with an Instrumentation or Electronics background is required. A Master’s degree in the same streams is preferred.
Experience requirement
Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial or instrument workshop maintenance.
