Job summary
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling electrical work on a project so it can be completed successfully within the project manager’s direction, the approved schedule and budget, and the requirements of the QA/QC policy.

Key responsibilities
- Examine electrical project documents, including methods, QA/QC procedures, engineering inputs, and construction timelines.
- Prepare and assess technical submissions such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments to ensure they match client, authority, end-user, and relevant local and international standards.
- Monitor site installation work each day, witness testing, identify deviations from construction documents, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work daily with the team leader and other team members to track, record, and report quality concerns raised by subcontractor work and propose fixes.
- Make sure site construction activities progress smoothly and review work status regularly.
- Take part in technical meetings and maintain continuous follow-up with client design and engineering teams.
- Protect the quality of electrical work by following the project quality plan.
- Train subordinates, build an effective team, and provide guidance and coaching.
- Assign work fairly, support team morale, and help maintain motivation.
- Track planned activities against delivery schedules and help achieve operational and development targets.
- Use resources efficiently to meet goals within cost and time limits.
- Prepare periodic reports that show deviations and progress against planned tasks.
- Address operational issues, escalate complex problems, and support resolution.
- Follow written systems, policies, procedures, and automation opportunities where possible.
- Comply with all related policies, work instructions, safety rules, quality controls, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Fresh graduate status is acceptable; the role targets candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of risk assessment.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Good time management and strong organizational ability.
- Capability in troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Initiative, creativity, and analytical thinking.
- Attention to detail and report writing ability.
Additional information
This is an onsite full-time role based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is intended for a fresh graduate electrical engineer in the Central Region.
