Employment Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an Employment Specialist to join our team supporting individuals across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) focused on empowering people with health challenges or complex obstacles to secure and maintain meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one guidance to clients on their path to paid employment.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with local employers.
• Implement the Supported Employment (SEQF) model, with full training provided.
• Operate mainly within community settings, meeting clients in their own environments.
• Offer ongoing support to help individuals stay in and progress within their jobs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to advocating for and believing in individuals' potential.
• Capability to travel within the North Nottinghamshire area.
• Experience working with people facing employment barriers is beneficial but not mandatory.
