Role Overview
Based in Gungahlin, this role involves assisting participants in the Workforce Australia program to surmount employment barriers and transition into meaningful jobs. The position requires managing a large caseload and engaging actively with participants and employers to secure lasting employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a high-volume caseload of job seekers to ensure effective support and placement.
- Engage proactively with individuals who are ready to work, facilitating sustainable employment and promoting their skills to potential employers.
- Identify and address specific challenges that hinder job seekers from becoming employment-ready.
- Equip participants with necessary tools, resources, and confidence to successfully enter the workforce.
- Utilize strong problem-solving abilities and maintain resilience to optimize employment results.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities to connect with diverse participants.
- A proactive, reliable self-starter mentality focused on achieving impactful outcomes and overcoming obstacles.
- Adaptability and quick thinking to navigate dynamic and challenging environments.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding business KPIs and targets.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications is essential.
