Role Overview

APM is looking for an Employment Consultant to join its Bundaberg Central, Queensland site as part of the Workforce Australia Program. This position is focused on helping people prepare for work, secure suitable jobs, and build pathways that support long-term independence and success.

Key Duties

You will support Workforce Australia participants in preparing for employment, finding suitable work, and keeping sustainable jobs over time. The role involves helping participants recognise their strengths, overcome barriers, and move into work with greater confidence and purpose.

You’ll also develop practical solutions to employment challenges, support inclusive hiring and workplace adjustments, celebrate placements and progress, and build strong partnerships with employers who value diversity and inclusion.

Application Requirements

  • You must be eligible to work in Australia.
  • A current driver’s licence is required, along with access to a vehicle that is comprehensively insured.
  • You need to have a Standard-level MyGovID.
  • You must be willing to complete a National Police Check.
  • You must be able to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • You need to be available to work full time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
