Role Overview

The Employee Services Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting employee relations and improving the overall employee experience through dependable, well-organized service delivery. The position helps create strong communication between staff and management, ensures policies and procedures are followed, and contributes to initiatives that raise satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver senior-level assistance in handling employee questions about policies, benefits, compensation, and other service-related matters.
  • Manage complicated employee cases and concerns while maintaining compliance with company rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the creation and rollout of employee services policies and procedures.
  • Use employee feedback and insights to recommend service and policy improvements.
  • Coach and support Employee Services Specialists and other team members on procedures, policy application, and best practices.
  • Lead training sessions to strengthen team capability and knowledge.
  • Keep employee records accurate and maintain the HR database properly.
  • Prepare and review reports on employee services metrics and trends, and share findings with the Employee Services Manager.
  • Spot opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the employee services function.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that enhance the employee experience.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives by providing guidance, input, and operational support as required.
  • Create and circulate communication materials for employee services programs and updates.
  • Serve as a point of coordination between employees and management on employee services matters.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or a closely related discipline is required.
