About the Role and Team

The operations team focuses on continuously enhancing and delivering a positive employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary actions, misconduct, performance issues, grievances, redundancies, and complex absences to resolution.
  • Lead thorough, independent investigations into complex HR matters, using critical thinking to evaluate evidence and draw conclusions.
  • Provide expert advice to business units regarding disciplinary warnings, employee relations cases, policy interpretation, and regional employment practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation of employee relations cases, including investigation reports and analysis.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training to HR Business Partners and leaders to enhance their effectiveness and promote sound employee relations decisions.
  • Establish strong partnerships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to uphold positive employee relations practices.
  • Collaborate closely with legal and investigative teams to appropriately balance risk and support decision-making.
  • Analyze trends to identify root causes and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to managing employee relations cases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience in employee relations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build effective partnerships with diverse key stakeholders.
  • Capability to operate successfully within a complex, fast-paced, and challenging business environment.
  • Strong understanding of Asia Pacific employment law and regulatory frameworks, especially regarding disciplinary procedures and corrective actions.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior business managers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Professional presence marked by confidence, credibility, and resilience.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
