Job description
Overview
MGM Resorts International is looking for a specialist to support employee relations and workplace accommodation work. Based in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, this position is focused on handling case intake, reviewing and routing matters, and managing assigned cases through to closure. The role also supports broader ER and accommodation work while following company policies, procedures, and department standards.
What You’ll Do
- Receive and sort employee relations and accommodation matters, including monitoring shared inboxes, creating or assigning cases, and replying to first-round questions.
- Run a personal caseload of low-to-moderate complexity cases from the initial report through resolution.
- Assist senior team members with more involved investigations and accommodation requests.
- Prepare case and accommodation documentation, review files for accuracy, and keep leadership updated on progress and key developments.
- Organize and schedule discussions and meetings with employees, managers, and other involved parties.
- Protect sensitive and confidential information, including medical details, at all times.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Human Resources, especially in Employee Relations, accommodations, or a similar area.
- Comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
