The Singapore Civil Defence Force presents a unique 3-year contract opportunity for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) eager to gain extensive frontline medical and emergency response experience. Key Responsibilities
As an EMT-Driver with SCDF, officers will operate ambulances and respond rapidly to medical emergencies and rescue situations. Their duties include applying medical interventions as trained and supporting the preservation of lives and property during urgent incidents.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates must hold a valid Class 3 or 3A driving license with at least one year’s validity and be medically classified as PES C2 or higher if applicable due to National Service obligations. Academic requirements include achievement of GCE ‘N’ Level or higher, including qualifications such as 'O' Levels, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma. Career Progression and Benefits
This contract offers a stable full-time employment foundation with a competitive monthly salary between approximately SGD 2940 and SGD 4370 along with annual increments, performance bonuses, and various allowances including frontline and shift differentials. Additional benefits encompass 14 to 18 days annual leave, medical and dental subsidies, employee welfare schemes, group insurance, and professional certifications such as Vocational Section Commander, EMT, and Emergency Vehicle Ambulance Driving.
Eligible candidates will receive a sign-on bonus of SGD 6000, and those advancing into Fire and Rescue or Paramedic Specialist roles may access a further SGD 24000 sign-on bonus.
