Role overview
BSI is seeking a senior operations leader to shape and run the EMEA delivery framework for its Internal and Supplier Assurance (ISA) business line. The role exists to help the region scale in a disciplined, efficient, and client-focused way while staying aligned with global ISA practices and wider regional priorities.
The position is responsible for building a robust operational structure for ISA across EMEA and embedding it into existing company processes rather than duplicating infrastructure. The successful candidate will help ensure quality, margin discipline, scalability, regulatory readiness, and strong commercial execution.
What this role will focus on
You will work across regional and global stakeholders to design a smoother client journey, coordinate delivery capability, support business growth, and strengthen operational governance. The role also plays a key part in aligning EMEA operations with the global hub and in helping commercial teams present and deliver ISA solutions with confidence.
Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to define and improve the ISA client journey across EMEA in line with global direction.
- Create a process that is easier to understand, consistently applied, and embedded across regions.
- Improve efficiency in how EMEA and global client contracts are delivered.
- Ensure the operating model reflects the future growth path of the ISA business.
- Build governance and transparency into the end-to-end process.
- Use proven practices already in place wherever possible.
- Work with direct reports and regional leaders to mobilise teams around a client-centred delivery model.
- Maintain the capabilities and roles needed within EMEA to support ISA program delivery.
- Collaborate with other regions to strengthen these capabilities more broadly for EMEA programs.
- Establish a clear capability framework for delivering ISA programs.
- Promote alignment between competencies used in EMEA and those used in other regions.
- Increase capacity and capability to support ISA delivery at scale.
- Improve program outcomes and the client impact of ISA work.
- Support sales teams by helping them build proposals and by giving them confidence in the organization’s delivery expertise.
- Align EMEA operations with the global hub and clarify hub responsibilities.
- Work with compliance teams to ensure controls and processes are proportionate, effective, and appropriate to risk.
- Reduce operational and compliance risk to a reasonable level.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal compliance stakeholders, associations, and regulators.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and translate them into practical working methods.
- Drive ISA revenue and growth across EMEA while supporting global growth initiatives.
- Improve visibility of performance at client and program level.
- Set a regular rhythm for performance monitoring.
- Increase focus on business performance improvement.
- Provide insights to support forecasting and strategic resource planning.
Travel
This position requires travel across EMEA as needed to support business and client activity.
