Email Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

An established organisation in the events, entertainment, and live experiences space is hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to strengthen its marketing function in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Senior Manager for CRM & Analytics and focuses on building high-performing email communications that support engagement, ticket revenue, customer loyalty, and broader commercial objectives across major projects.

This position is suited to a professional who is deeply familiar with CRM, customer journeys, audience segmentation, and email performance analysis. In addition to managing campaign delivery, you will study customer behaviour, assess results, and apply insights to improve future communications and lifecycle marketing activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement email marketing plans that support the wider marketing strategy.
• Organise, timetable, and launch promotional emails, newsletters, and automated customer flows.
• Handle audience grouping and database targeting to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
• Design, assemble, and send email campaigns using established ESP and marketing automation tools.
• Partner with content, design, and digital teams to create effective email messaging.
• Apply personalisation techniques to enhance customer experience and improve campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and refine lifecycle communications such as engagement, retention, nurture, and reactivation journeys.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and send timing to improve results.
• Track performance indicators including opens, clicks, conversions, retention, and audience engagement.
• Prepare recurring reports and performance insights with recommendations for future improvements.
• Manage several campaigns and priorities at once while meeting demanding deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Maintain database quality, compliance standards, and email marketing best practices.
• Support and guide a junior Email Marketing Developer when needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
• Practical, hands-on experience with email platforms and marketing automation systems.
• Background in audience segmentation and customer journey management.
• Experience creating engagement-focused, nurture, retention, and lifecycle email campaigns.
• Good understanding of deliverability, A/B testing, and campaign optimisation methods.
• Ability to interpret campaign performance data and turn findings into stronger future communications.
• Strong analytical approach with the ability to read customer behaviour and key marketing metrics.
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple live campaigns.
• Excellent written English and a sharp eye for detail.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is AED 18,000 to AED 20,000 per month, along with additional benefits. The position offers the chance to work on large-scale consumer campaigns and build your career within a respected organisation based in Abu Dhabi.
