Role overview
CardsHQ is seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to support customer communications and lead-generation efforts across its brands. The role involves planning and executing email and SMS campaigns, helping shape campaign messaging, and keeping marketing operations organized and on schedule. The right person will bring both creative thinking and strong execution skills to support marketing initiatives across Sports Card Investor, Market Movers, and CardsHQ.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, build, test, schedule, and launch email and SMS campaigns across Sports Card Investor, Market Movers, and CardsHQ.
- Oversee newsletters, promotional sends, product launches, feature updates, and customer-facing communications for all brands.
- Develop campaign ideas, copy direction, and communication themes that support brand goals and business priorities.
- Keep the marketing communication calendar current so campaigns go out accurately and on time.
- Design, run, and refine automated customer journeys such as onboarding, retention, re-engagement, loyalty, and win-back flows.
- Build audience segmentation and personalization approaches using behavior, purchase history, engagement, and subscription data.
- Create targeted communication experiences that strengthen engagement, retention, conversions, and customer lifetime value.
- Support email, SMS, and customer messaging for retail promotions, product drops, card shows, trade nights, and special events.
- Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Content, Product, Retail, and Ecommerce teams to keep campaigns aligned with company priorities.
- Track campaign metrics including open rate, click-through rate, engagement, conversions, and revenue impact.
- Run A/B tests and improve subject lines, creative, messaging, layout, and calls to action based on results.
- Maintain deliverability, sender reputation, list hygiene, and audience management best practices.
- Review campaign outcomes and share practical recommendations to improve future performance.
- Help develop scalable marketing automation programs that improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a consistent customer experience and brand voice across all communication channels.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or comparable platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage several campaigns and projects at the same time.
- Clear and effective written communication skills.
- Comfort working with campaign data, performance metrics, and reporting.
