Job description

Overview

Richmond Primary School, located in the historic township of Richmond and home to Tasmania's oldest continuously operating school building, is seeking a dedicated Education Facility Attendant. This role supports the school community by fostering a secure and inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Role Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to keep the school environment safe, clean, and visually appealing. Key duties include the daily cleaning of the school facilities, maintenance of the grounds, and operation of various equipment to ensure all buildings and outdoor areas are kept to a high standard. Additionally, the role may require performing minor equipment maintenance and servicing tasks.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Must hold a current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with Employment status.
  • Applicants are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining or renewing the RWVP.
